A recent project motivated by a course completed with the Calligraphy tutor Gaynor Goffe.
Drawing from the design period of 1910 I set out to create a series of props that held a personal dexterity to them. Moulded around the tone of voice at the time, an array of notes and clippings were crafted to demonstrate what was held dear to the owner.
With a new range of Pesto’s coming out, I was brought on with Perfect Day to lead the ideation phase and branding in this Packaging Design brief alongside refreshing established ranges. Furthermore, I contributed to the Art Direction of the video content following the release.
Working closely with Belazu, the design process was a deep dive into tasting, research and finding that unique note in each pesto to create a range that felt distinct and uniquely Belazu.
This process then informed a series of guidelines for the clients internal design team to appropriate for the rollout of the project and overall range.

In a nutshell “Drive Digital” was a brand created for a global Google event which aims to inspire, develop and target high potential CMO’s.
As the lead designer on the project, I worked alongside a team of Phantom’s right from the early naming process through to developing the brand, guidelines and preceding event chapters.
With a focus on "digital transformation" we crafted the brand from experimentation and play, custom patterns were made and a vibrant gradient was used throughout to ignite pops of interest and delight.
Key collateral included custom direct mail, name badges, workbooks, signage as well as ongoing support with the event team responsible in each chosen country.

Phantom Agency’s parties were legendary and in this brief I was asked to create the ‘Phortune’ card for the custom-built Gashapon (toy vending machine) at the event.
The combination of influences was a fun task, on one hand we had inspiration from retro Japanese design and on the other mysterious fortune-telling characters from the likes of Zoltar. This lead us to surprise our guests with less ordinary fortunes for the night.

A self-directed project where I set out to craft and reimagine a full typeface from the few letters of the iconic incense label Auroshikha.
A challenge that led me to appreciate and agonise every letters curve. Enabling me to understand the symmetry of typography at a much more macro level.
This was part of a paper tutored by Jonty Valentine.
